Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 27, 2026
Livenx Labs (the "Provider") respects the privacy of everyone who uses PinPath (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected and used in connection with the App.
Information We Collect
- Account information: email address, display name, profile image, and user identifier obtained when you sign in with Google or Apple. If you use the App anonymously, only an anonymous identifier is collected.
- Saved places (PinPath): the name of a place you save, its area/category/mood tags, memos, reference links, and coordinates.
- Plan data: the title, description, dates and times, stops (name, order, duration, mode of transport, etc.), invite/share codes, and display name of the plans you create or edit. When a plan is co-edited or shared, this data is shared among the members of that plan.
- Photos: photos attached to places or plans. Photos are stored after compression.
- Links and URLs: URLs you enter or share for place extraction. During extraction, publicly available information from the linked page (title, OGP, description, etc.) is retrieved and used as a hint.
- AI extraction input: photos and URLs sent to extract place candidates. These are processed by AI (Vertex AI Gemini).
- AI plan generation input: the names, areas, categories, and coordinates of your saved places, together with settings such as dates, sent when a plan is generated automatically. These are processed by AI (Vertex AI Gemini).
- Location: the coordinates of a saved place are estimated from the EXIF (capture location) of a photo you select, or by geocoding a name or address. In addition, only when you tap the "current location" button on the map, the App obtains your device location (while-in-use permission) to show your position on the map. That position is used only to display the map on your device; it is not sent to or stored by the Provider. The App does not locate you in the background and does not track your location.
- Purchase information: subscription status. Payment credentials are processed by Apple or Google and are not stored by the Provider.
- Device and usage information: OS type and version, device type, app version, usage logs, and crash information.
- Inquiry information: email address and message provided when contacting us.
